Don't know
where to begin? Want to develop the most outstanding
portfolio possible? With the Platinum Service,
you can speak on the phone, or have a video conference
with your own Portfolic Coach and receive in-depth
help with all stages of the portfolio development
process, from brainstorming and concept development
to content development, narrative development,
and graphic design of the whole book. While we
won't design your portfolio for you, your personal
coach will bring out your creativity, weed out
bad ideas, share possible ideas for design exercises
for content development according to your academic
or professional goals and distill the most compelling
aspects of your background, ensuring your portfolio's
perfection.
Attention: The Platinum Service requires at least
two-and-a-half weeks to complete. If you are under
a tighter deadline, please consider our Premium
Service, which can improve your portfolio dramatically
within 24 - 48 hours.
Stage 1:
During the purchase process you will have the
chance to submit whatever you have created for
your portfolio (independent content, creative
work, or actual portfolio pages) and also a half-page
to 1-page essay (it can be as rough or incomplete
as you want - it could also be the actual essay
that you will be using for your application for
admission) outlining your background, aspirations
and abilities. If you prefer not to write an essay,
we could instead send you a questionnaire which
will be used to give your Coach a clear idea of
your background.
Stage 2:
Your Coach will read through your essay or questionnaire
and schedule a time to speak with you by phone
or teleconferencing for 30 to 45 minutes. On the
phone, your coach will ask more questions, brainstorm
with you, discuss your approach and topic ideas
and finally suggest content ideas and changes.
Stage 3:
Based on your questionnaire and phone-call, your
coach will email you with specific comments on
big-picture ways to develop your portfolio or
improve the content of your existing portfolio.
This is not an edit, but your coach's opinion
on how to best compose or improve your portfolio.
If necessary and applicable, the coach will show
you samples of work completed by previous clients
who have given permission to let Portfolic use
their portfolios as examples.
Stage 4:
Within the next seven days, you will have a chance
to incorporate your coach's ideas and write a
new rough draft. You may interact with your coach
by email during this period.
Stage 5:
You will submit your new and improved portfolio
to your coach, who will complete a Premium Service
edit of it within 48 hours.
Stage 6:
Once you receive your edit, you will schedule
a 30 to 45 minute phone call or video conference
with your coach and have seven days to interact
via email to cover remaining questions and further
perfect your portfolio.
Stage 7:
You submit your portfolio for a final polish after
completing stage 6. Within 48 hours your coach
will get back to you with a final set of polishing
comments.
